The tug-of-war over dance hall closing hours got under way again when an interested citizen requested on behalf ' of the proprietor of Flat Woods 1 Inn that dance hall closing hours be extended until 2a.m. rather than the 1 a.m. limit in effect. The county Sheriff was called on for an opinion and stated there had been fewer fights, cuttings, etc. since the hours had been set back to 1 a.m. However, a motion was made and carried to extend the hours until 2 a.m. A recorded vote showed i Mr. Luttrell and Mr. Estes iagainst the extension of hours and the others in favor of the motion. A report from Resident Engineer James Skeens of the Highway Department disclosed that $15,000 left over from last years secondary road budget has been added to the b7-68 budget.
