Field Trial Sept 13-16
The Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association to hold Bench Show and Field Trials next week. It is expected about 500 fox hounds, their owners and many visitors will be ii Culpeper next week for the affair. Headquarters for the meet will be The Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises where hounds will be entered beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning the 13th and the Bench Show will be at 8:00p.m. Wednesday evening. George Anglir of Washington, will judge the show with Thomas L. Goodwir of Orange, serving as ringmaster.
Hounds will be cast at daybreak Thursday, Friday anc Saturday mornings for five hours running each day. The cast will be made Thursday and Saturday mornings on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Olivet Durant n and Friday morninj on Longlea farm with Geralc Simmons of Clarksville, serving as master of hounds. The public is invited toattenc and awards and trophies wil be presented Saturday afternoon at the headquarters. Most of the running is to be in the Boston area, and lane owners are not responsible foi accidents.
