With summer vacation over, the halls of Rappahannock County High School are again filled with the chatter of students as a new school season began last week. New students were busy scanning the building while old ones noted the improvements. The halls had been painted and the Panther emblem on the gym floor Was admired by all. Mr. Alvin Atkins, the custodian, had evidently been busy all summer and the school shone through his efforts. This year an all-out effort is to be made to keep the school and campus beautiful.
The Student Cooperative Association C ounc il members were at school bright and early Tuesday morning. They awaited the arrival of the buses to greet fellow classmates and to inform seventh and eighth graders as to the whereabouts of the homerooms.
