Rabies Clinics

The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors in cooperation with the Health Department and local veterinarian, as a convenience, is offering rabies clinics for the vaccination of dogs against irabies. The State Law requires that all dogs 5 months and older be vaccinated before obtaining 1968 tags. The following clinic schedule has been arranged for each district. The vaccine being used is good for three years. September 11, 4 to 6 p.m.Amissville, Fire House. September 12 - 4 to 6 p.m.Castleton, Fire House. September 13, 4 to 6 p.m.Woodville, Wood’s Station. September 20, 4 to 6 p.m.Chester Gap, Fire House. Clinic Procedure (1) Every dog should be on a collar and leash in the care of a responsible person. (2) Proceed in a single line to the Clerk, pay fee of $1.00 and receive copy of vaccination certificate. (3) Proceed in a single line to veterinarian, place dog on table and hold dog while vaccine is administered
