Some 575 miles of the arterial routes have been completed, includ ing those sections that met network standards when the program was launched three years ago. During the week of September 24, school groups and the general public will be invited to visit many of the Highway Department’s field offices to pee the organization which plans and administers the State’s huge road-building pro gram. F ield engineers are currently putting the finishing touches on their plans for the week. Instead of open houses, some will conduct public officials and newsmen on tours of construction projects.
