Virginia Tech Has Enrollment of 1,956
BLACKSBURG --- Enrollment for the second session of summer school at Virginia Tech totals 1,956, up slightly from the 1,895 who attended the same session last year. University officials report that the final enrollment figure for the session which began July 26 and continues through Sept. 1 may increase slightly from late graduate registrations. The total enrollment during the two sessions at Virginia Tech this year was 4,442 as compared to 4,214 last year. About 9,500 students are expected to arrive on the university campus^ Sept. 18 when fall registration begins. The freshman orientation period is scheduled for Sept. 13.
