Kevan Ward, brother of the groom, acted as best man. Ushers were Robert E. Moore and Walter E. Krause, Jr. of Flint Hill. A reception followed the wedding ceremony at The Virginia Gentleman Restaurant in Front Royal. The tiered wedding cake was served by Mrs. Mary Krause and Mrs. B. J. Wood. Serving at the punch bowls were Mrs. Louis Moore and Mrs. HowardMcFall. Mrs Emory Russell was in charge of the guest book. The bride s mother wore a dress of blue silk jersey knit with dark accessories and a corsage of double white carnations. Mrs.. Ward chose for her son's wedding a suit of blue brocade with matching accessories. Her flowers also were double white carnations. For traveling the bride chose a two piece suit of light rose silk shantung. Her corsage was from her bridal bouquet. After a southern wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Ward are living in Miami, Florida.
