C. B. Johnson returned home Sunday from a week’s visit with his son and daughterin-law Dr. and Mrs. J. H. Johnson in Lakeland, Florida. Larry Conners, accompanied by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners, left Mon,, day for Registration Day at Frederick Military Academy in Portsmouth where he is snrolled for the school year. Mr. and Mrs. Press Pulliam and family of Alexandria were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Wood, Jr. Mrs. C. M. Burke and Mrs. Yager Burke gave a surprise anniversary party for Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Butler Sunday afternoon at the home of Mrs. C. M. Burke. Others present were Yager Burke and son Larry Burke and Miss Gale Deanell of Clinton, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hornburger of Silver Spring, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Myers and three daughters of Culpeper, Mrs. Arley Estes and Mrs. Ralph Estes of Castleton.
