Two vehicles were involved in a collision Thursday morning at Massies Corner shortly after ten o’clock. They were a 65 Dodge owned and operated by Arnold Frederick Klick of Chevy Chase, Md. and a 62 Ford owned and operated by Jong Yool Kwon of Ellicott City, Md.
According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, the two vehicles were traveling west on Route 211 on the dual lane highway. Klick pulled into the passing lane to go around a slow moving car which was preparing to make a right turn onto Route 522. At this time Kwon was already going by in the passing lane and was struck by the Klick vehicle. The Kwon vehicle surged through the median and came to a halt in the eastbound lane.
Kwon sustained a lacerated leg and abrasion of the nose. Damage to his car was estimated at $500. The damage to the Klick auto was astimated at $150 and Klick was charged with failure to yield the dght of way, said the officer.
