Amissville Fire Company responded to a Held fire April 9 at Brown Settle’s in Laurel Mills. The same night they were called to a field fire near John Mallory’s where a small building also burned.
The Chester Gap Rescue Squad took Mrs. Critzes from her home in Front Royal to the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville for treatment last Saturday, April 5. She returned to her home the same evening.
