Mr. and Mrs. John Meeker and six children of Short Hill, N. J. were overnight guests Friday of the Rev. and Mrs. William M. Hargett and family at The Rectory.
Mr. add Mrs. Field Benton and son Hugh of Middlesborom, Ky. were overnight guests Thursday of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller. The Bentons are spending a week at their home Ivy Oaks in Old Hollow.
Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Lindenblad and three children of Upper Saddle River, N. J. are arriving Saturday at Mt. Prospect, home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller. Mrs. Lindenblad and children will spend a week with the Millers and will be joined next weekend by Dr. Lindenblad. Travis Dudley of New Kent was the supper guest Friday of his aunt Mrs. W. C. Campbell and Mr. Campbell at Twinland. Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett had as guests at buffet luncheon Sunday at the Coach and Cavern Cave room in Luray Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. W. G. Eastham and daughters the Misses Lizzie and Marion Eastham. Miss backing up -- never reiy completely on the rear-view mirror.”
This month’s poster winner in the AAA’s National School Traffic Safety Poster Contest is Anthony DeSensi, a seventeen year old eleventh grade pupil at Connelley Vocational High School in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. It has been distributed to schools throughout the' nation as part of the AAA’s national school traffic safety program.
