then wash in hot detergent water and bleach remaining stain. If the stain is made by ball point, rub with vaseline or sponge with cleaning fluid, then wash in hot detergent water and bleach remaining stains. For fabrics other than cottons or linens, bleach with mild bleach.
For perspiration stains on cottons and linens, wash in hot detergent water with bleach. If stain persists, dampen stain with lukewarm water and sprinkle with powdered pepsin. Let stand 1 hr., brush off powder and wash in hot water. Perspriation odors may be removed by soaking garment in salt hot water. Perspiration odors may be removed by soaking garment in salt listerine. For other fabrics, use a mild bleach in the above method.
For rust stains, soak in lemon juice and salt or oxalic acid solution (3 tablespoons oxalic acid to 1 pint warm water). Never use oxalic acid in washer as it will harm porcelain enamel tub.

81 tt Birthday Celebrated
Jessie J. Foster of Huntly celebrated his 81st birthday, April 6. He has four sons, fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. There were 43 gathered at his home for the celebration, bringing many fine gifts |nd wishing him many more happy birthdays.
