Craft Show and

Luncheon April 26

The public is invited to attend a {Craft Show and Luncheon, {Saturday, April 26 at Cab-Inn, Sperryville. Many Rappahannock | County women will be displaying their work in Decoupage, Resin casting, ceramics, Tole stenciling and “country tin” painting, as well as other crafts. These objects have all been done since the group held its last show at the Library in 1967.

The buffet luncheon will be served from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at $1.35 per person to those who have made a reservation ahead of time. Call Mrs. Helen Kilby, 987-2551, before Friday, April 25 if you plan to attend the luncheon and “your name will be put in the pot.”

Between 1:30 and 2:30 on Saturday anyone wishing to see the display who does not buy lunch will be admitted free of charge. Proceeds from luncheon are to be used to purchase certain books and rrfate rials for the Craft group. Since their organization 5 years ago no dues nor fees have been charged. Public interest and attendance at luncheon will be appreciated.

Elect Officers Tuesday

The Rappahannock Junior Woman’s Club will meet Tuesday, April 22, 1969 at 7:30 p.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Parrish Hall, Washington. Officers will be elected. Mrs. Valeria Jones and Mrs. Karen Beard will serve as hostesses.
