Membership to Phi Beta Kappa, a national scholarship fraternity, is conferred on upper classmen of high scholastic standing. Initiation into the fraternity will take place April 22 at a formal banquet at the University.

Hearing Set
Mr. T. Edward Temple Director, Division of State Planning and Community Affairs announces that a Public Hearing for proposed Planning District No. 9 consisting of Culpepei County, Fauquier County, Rappahannock County, Town ol Culpeper, and the Town ol Warrenton .will be held on April 22nd at 7:30 p.m. at the Second National Bank, Assembly Room, 102 S. Main Street, Culpeper, Virginia.
The Division of State Planning and Community Affairs is required to conduct Hearings on Planning Districts which it has delineated in compliance with the Virginia Area Development Act passed by the General Assembly in 1968.
As a result of state-wide studies which it began last year, the Division has proposed twenty-two Planning Districts.
The Public is invited to attend the Public Hearing and express its views on the proposed District.
