The Quarterly Conference of the Methodist Charge with churches at Sperryville, Washington, Flint Hill and Huntly held a business meeting and dinner Sunday afternoon at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. Dr. Hugh M. Burleigh of Charlottesville was the guest speaker. There was representation from all four churches.

The Flint Hill Homemakers Club met Tuesday, April 8 at the home of Mrs. Mary Cleverley. Mrs. Will Putnam and Mrs. Edward Pruitt conducted the program on Accessories for the Home. There were nine present.

Mrs. Patterson Biggs returned home Friday from the Fauquier County Hospital where she had been a surgical patient.

Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Russell and daughter Mary Rebecca were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Thelma D.j Russell.

Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and two children Joyce and Doug of Falls Church were in town Sunday and attended the Methodist Conference dinner and meeting. Weekend guests of Mrs. Mary Cleverley were Mr. and Mrs. Warren McConchie and son Craig of Arlington. Mr. McConchie and Craig joined a group of Boy Scouts from Arlington for an overnight camp-out at Little Red Farm which is owned by Mrs. Cleverley. Monday Mrs. Cleverley lectured at the Lewis Hotel
