Ned Moffett Jones spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones and left to attend the meeting of the Virginia Horticultural Society in Roanoke before returning to his studies at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Stewart Hawkins is spending the between semesters break at Old Dominion University at Norfolk with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton M. Hawkins, Jr. AQ3 David E. Palmer left Monday to join his ship at the Oceana Naval Air Station at ' Virginia Beach after spending several weeks leave with his mother, Mrs. C. B. Palmer. Other weekend guests in the Palmer home were Stewart Palmer of Blue Ridge Community College and Miss Barbara Corbett of Clear Spring, Md. Mrs. C. B. Palmer and family regularly visit her mother, Mrs. J. A. Elmore at the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. and Daughter Cil flew Friday to Freeport, Grand Bahamas to spend the weekend.
Mrs. Mavis March of Kingston, Jamaica arrived by plane Tuesday of last week and is visiting her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. J. Lester Burke and family.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Buntin and daughter Miss Nancy Buntin were in Washington, D. C. Monday and attended the Auto Show at the National Armory.
Mrs. Sheila Rosebor and three so ns of Richmond were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Newbiil Miller. Mrs. Rosebro was a former classmate of Mrs. Miller at Hollins College. Mr. and Mrs. Miller entertained a group of friends in honor of their houseguests Saturday evening at The Maples.
Mrs. Anna Fincham spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. RQbert Jacobs in Amissville. On Saturday night, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Weakley, they all had dinner at the Flagship Restaurant in Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning of Flint Hill were Bridge guests Saturday night of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser.
Mfc. T. C. Lea, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. and Mrs. F. W. Spalding were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst and Robert L. Massie, Jr. in Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. C- J. Miller were visitors Saturday of Miss Belle Strother in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal.
Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett was a visitor Saturday of her brother, D. Jack Miller in the Winchester Memorial Hospital and Henry L. Miller at the Shawnee Nursing Home. She was accompanied by D. D. Miller.
