Cadet Troop 393, Girl Scouti of Rappahannock met Monday al Hampton Inn for a surprise part) given by the group leader Mrs Charles Raney. Doris Fietchei received her Girl Scout pins. Yeai pins were presented, challenge awards and badges were giver those earning them.
The troop is planing to adopt i baby from a foreign country for i year. This will constitute making money to provide funds for the child’s welfare for a year.

include three bridges in Nelson County at the Tye River at Massies Mill, the Rockfish River at Joplins Ford, the Buffalo River at Piedmont, and in Caroline County on US 301 at Reedy Creek, south of Doggetts Fork. Five of the projects are for drainage structures and approaches. Augusta County - Interstate 64 • Paving of a 10.02-mile section from Interstate 81 at Staunton to 3.28 miles east of the VA 340 interchange south of Waynesboro. Work is scheduled for completion in mid-1971, but if weather permits the 7-mile section between VA 340 and Interstate 81 will be opened before the end of the year. Frederick and Warren Counties - Interstate 66 - Paving of a 6.85-mile section from Interstate 81 at Strasburg to US 340-522 north of Front Royal. Work on this section is scheduled for completion and opening in mid-1971.
