Col. Charles W. King is a patient in the Winchester Memorial Hospital. Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett and Mrs. James Massie were visitors Monday of D. Jack Miller at the Winchester Memorial Hospital. Page Moffett and his fraternity brother Tom Freeburger of the University of Virginia were supper guests Friday night of Judge and Mrs. W. F. Moffett. Miss Carter Moffett of Mary Washington College will arrive on Friday fo spend a week’s semester break with her parents Judge and Mrs. Moffett on Gay Street. Mrs. Bertha Armel, Bruce Critzer and Steve Bailey attended the Culpeper Volunteer Firemen’s banquet Thursday evening in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Allie Huff and Brian were visitors of Mr, and Mrs. Clyde Perry in Charlottesville Friday night. Saturday night visitors of the Huffs were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Perry and son of Culpeper. Edward Huff returned home with the Perrys for the night. ' Mrs. L. T. Callahan of Rickville, Md. spent last Tuesday and Wednesday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall at Rose Hill.

Mrs. Paul Miller entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club and additional guests Monday evening at her home. Her guests included Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, Mrs. Wallace Russell and Mrs. T. L. Eastham who were the prize winners. Also Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Joel) Jenkins, Mrs. F. W. Spalding/Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Harold Scoggin, Mrs. W. A. Moore, Jr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood.
