Amissville offered carnival goers some good entertainment Thursday night with a lively parade which included a variety of units. Parade winners were:

Amissville Ruritan Club was named best civic float and Bridges Clowns the best comic entry. Elkton Ladies Auxiliary placed first and the Blossomettes were named the best marching entry.
