Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Quaintance and son Charles Lee, Jr. and Mrs. Charles Quaintance, Sr. have returned to their home in Highland Falls, N. Y. after a week’s visit with the Henry Wood family.
Sunday- guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark and Misty Hitt were Victor Taylor and son Jeff, and Jerry Whitlock of Culpeper and Mrs. Collier Fox of Luray. Mrs. Clark was a Monday visitor of Mrs. Roy Trout, a patient in Culpeper Hospital.
Barney Pauze has returned to the University of Iowa after a visit with friends in the county.
Mrs. D. A. Barbee and children of Gainesville were Thursday overnight guests of her mother, Mrs. C. W. Jenkins. Mrs. Jenkins’ Sunday guests were her nephew, K. G. Whitlock, Mrs. Whitlock and niece, Mrs. Louise Whitlock.
Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Johnson and son of Gordonsville were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brown. Later the Browns attended a family gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Jenkins at Remington. On Monday the Browns were guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Rose of The Plains.
Bridget Brown returned home on Monday after a visit with Miss Stephanie Beasley at Gainesville. Mrs. C. B. Carder of Culpeper is the guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.
