Mr*. Mary Menefee

Mr*. Mary Elizabeth Menefee 84, of Woodville, died Sunday August 23, 1970 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Isabel Clark of Rappahannock County, and the widow of Carroll Benjamin Menefee. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wilson Atkins of Woodville; two sons, Daniel L. Menefee and Gilbert M. Menefee, both of Culpeper, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Dan Menefee of Woodville and Mrs. Charlie Menefee of Boston, Va.; and three brothers, Eddie J. Clark of Washington, Va., Addie F. Clark of Luray and Rasby Clark of Flint Hill. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Milton Switzer with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.

Clarence Cloud

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Home for Clarence W. Cloud who died August 18,1970 at his home in Flint Hill at the age of 82. The Rev. Jerry Campbell conducted the service. Interment was in the Warrenton Memorial Cemetery. He was bom at Laurel Mills, Va. the son of the late Peacie and Roberta Cubbage Cloud. Mr. Cloud retired from 30 years Government Service at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Clarice Lillard of Flint Hill, Mrs. Mazie Montgomery of Orange, Calif., Mrs. Hilma Walker of Oxon Hill and Mrs. Lois Sosirs of Warrenton; three sons, Nelson Cloud of Arlington, James Cloud and Leon Cloud, both of Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Murphy of Martinsburg, W. Va., and Mrs. Carrie Smith of Manassas; and a brother, William Cloud of Culpeper.

Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ricky Cloud, Daryle Cloud, Roy Mills, Pete Lillard, Mike Flarety and William Wade.
