The public is once again alerted to flim-flam artists who travel the country using various schemes to con money from people, particularly older residents. One should always ask for identification and references where possible. If there is any doubt as to whether the operation is legitimate, do not hesitate to contact a county officer.
Arts & Crafts Group
Rappahannock Arts and Crafts group will meet Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 10 am. at Cab-Inn in Sperryville. Those interested may continue work on Crewel embroidery.
It is hoped there will be a demonstration on Tie Dyeing. If anyone in the county, experienced in this craft will assist in giving a demonstration please contact Mrs. Helen Kilby, 987-2551.
