Del. D. French Slaughter, Jr., has been appointed by the Virginians For Byrd Headquarters as 7th District Coordinator for all district counties east of the Blue Ridge. These embrace Madison, Greene, Orange, Culpeper, Rappahannock, Fluvanna, Albemarle, and the City of Charlottesville.

Any farm owner, tenant, or sharecropper who is of legal voting age may vote if he has an interest in a farm and is eligible to participate in any ASCS program administered in his community. Others who may vote are: A Wife who jointly operates a farm with her husband; a minor who supervises and conducts the farming operation of an entire farm; a legal guardian who manages a farm for a child; and a person representing a legal entity such a partnership or corporation.
The ASC Committee Chairman pointed out that producers who haye far pi intents in more than ’one community may select the community in which to vote, but may vote in only one community in the county.
Voting by proxy is not allowed.
