Newbill Miller, President of the Rappahannock Angus Feeder Calf Sale Association, asked me to remind all cow-calf producers who would like to consign their calves to this sale that nominations should be in by the end of this week. For the first time Charolais-Angus cross calves will be accepted and sold. Also, there will be no on the farm inspection of calves unless the producer requests it.

Hawfield Area Cosed
The area in Orange County known as the Hawfield Wildlife Management Area, which has been under lease to the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries for the past 6 years foi dove hunting, will not be oper this year since the Commissior did not renew its lease with the private owner, reports Executive Director Chester F. Phelps. The area was open only for dove hunting and fishing and the Commission felt that the level ol use' did not justify the fund: being expended for management
