We cruised through many small communities and townships and at Dubois, Pennsylvania, we admired an interesting landmark, i It is known as McGee’s covered Bridge and was erected in 1873, but is still in daily use.
Soon we entered the Pennsylvania Turnpike and realized there was more traffic than we had thus far encountered on our trip. At Fort Littleton, we took the exit for Chambersburg and passed many peach orchards. When the bellboy said the temperature was 75 degrees, we again agreed it was perfect weather for traveling. The girls took full advantage of the lesson of the night before and won the blue ribbon.
While driving through the .Chambersburg streets on Saturday morning, Elizabeth was busily filming sites of the town and snapped an Amish couple as they walked along the street.
