A Ham and Fried Chicken Dinner will be served by the ladies of the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Dept. Saturday, October 3 at the Fire Hall starting at 5 p.m.

Fire School To Be Completed This Weekend
Rappahannock County Fire School will continue this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4th. The schedule for both days will include instruction in breathing apparatus and structural fires; pumps, pressures and operations; power tools and fire extinguishers; and rescue practices. Classes are held at Amissville carnival grounds and fire hall. Paul A. Poling is director of the school.
A banquet for the class members and instructors will be held at the fire hall on Friday night, October 16 at 7 p.m.
