Feted With Luncheon
Mrs. Elwood Dean entertained the Friendship Bible Class of Amissville Methodist Church with a luncheon at her home Elva Acres Monday. Those present were Mrs. Willie Hackley, Mrs. Ethel Hall, Mrs. Julia Curtis, Mrs. Frank Walter, Mrs. Ruth Davis, Mrs. W. A. Layman, Mrs. Dolly Melbourne, Mrs. Pauline Latham, Mrs. Eddie Hitt and Mrs. T. W. Latham.
In a surprise gesture, the luncheon ended in a birthday celebration honoring Mrs. T. W. Latham. A cake was served and gifts presented.
Sunday, Mrs. Latham was the honored guest at a family party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle. Mr. Latham, Mr. and Mrs. James Smith of Chevy Chase and Mrs. Sandra Todd and daughter Candy of Silver Spring were guests also.
