Mr*. Betty Baldwin and Mr*. Hubby Cannon of the Village Beauty Salon In Amiaavllle have |uat returned home after attending a National Hair Dreaaers Convention held in Richmond through Tuesday. Saturday they attended the Gas tecua-Aide non wedding in Petersburg in which Lucinda Baldwin was an attendant. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Giles in Warrenton and in the evening with their son, Billy visited Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Gouldthorpe and daughter at Bealeton. Billy Payne, accompanied by C. G. Thornhill of Boston, spent the weekend at the State Fair in Richmond. Mrs. Donald Rhodes and children of Woodbridge were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Priest. Mrs. David Hoadley of Arlington and her houseguest Miss Alma Philips of Indianapolis, ind. were overnight guests last Wednesday of Mrs. Sarah Latham and Susan. On Saturday the Lathams were guests of Mrs. C. C. Cockerill, Mr. and Mrs. James Cockerlll and sons in Herndon. They were evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart, also of Herndon and visited Mrs. C. P. Keyes and Miss Margey Hummer of Sterling. Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Newton and daughter Michelle of Etlan, spent Sunday at the State Fair in Richmond. Mrs. Julia Curtis and Mrs. J. L. Walter were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Curtis at Flint Hill. The dinner was in honor of the birthday of their son Jimmy Curtis. William Walter and a friend of Baltimore, Md. were visitors last Saturday of Mrs. Walter and Mrs. Curtis. Guests this week of Capt. and Mrs. William Keim are her sister Mrs. Jackie Gieson and Maj. Gen. W. D. Grant, both of Honolulu, Hawaii. Mrs. Keim’s mother, Mrs. George K. Campbell, is also a houseguest.
