Kindreds Feted With Farewell Dinner
The Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Kindred were feted with a dinner Sunday at the Amissville Baptist Church prior to their leaving for a new pastorate. Rev. Kindred has served the Amissville Baptist Church for six years and during part of this time was also pastor of Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown.
His community activities included membership in Amissville Ruritan Club and Amissville Fire Company and Rescue Squad. He served as Scoutmaster of Troop No. 50 Amissville Boy Scouts. Mr. and Mrs. Kindred are members of Culpeper Chapter No. 79 Order of the Eastern Star ind are presently serving as Associate Patron and Associate Matron of that chapter. (.rB#v. and Mrs. Kinged And children Susan and John are moving to Elkton, Va. where he lias accepted the pastorate of the First Baptist Church there.
