Choose a basic design. Avoid many “little” styling details (pocket flaps, bound buttonholes) unless you are willing to put forth the very careful work and patience they require. Avoid eased seams a& the fur and fake fur fabrics are difficult to ease. Sleeves may be feet in. However, a raglan sleeve will be much easier.
The fake fun are made from a variety of synthetics, acetate; acrylic, or rayon, and have either a woven or knit backing.
A word of caution, read the care instructions printed on the hang tag or on the label at the end of the fabric bolt. Some are washable, but most require dry-cleaning. Many of the fake fun are water repellant.
Before purchasing your fabric, make sure you have selected a fur that will wear' well. Fold the fabric and examine the folded edge. If the hain are sparse, the fabric will quickly show signs of wear. The Extension Office has
