4-H Club Organized
The Sixth Grade 4-H Club in the Rappahannock Elementary School was organized for the year 1970-71. The following officers were sleeted: President, Donna Cannon; Vice President, Faye Carter; Secretary, Peggy Pullen; Reporter, Mary Jordan; Song Leader, Patricia Robinson. Our meetings will be held on the third Thursday of each nonth.

''J’he’^moun tains of Highland County are bursting with the many colors of fall. Hie majestic maple, which so kindly give its delectable maple syrup in the spring, color the mountains with beautiful variations of reds, orange, yellows, and golds. Clouds, with brilliant hues, floating in the deepest blue sky, caress the mountain top as they go by. Such contrasts in color for the eyes to behold!
The Highland County Chamber of Commerce would like to share this magnificant scenery, by inviting everyone to this Annual Festival on the weekend of October 3-4 and October 10-11, 1970.
Visitors may see crafts in the making. Potters will demonstrate their arts of the by-gone days. Artists can be seen painting the beautiful scenery as the visitor
