rhe wedding cake was served by the bride’s aunt, Mrs. George A. Nethers of Front Royal. Presiding it the punch bowl was Mrs. Lloyd Lukenbach of Indianapolis, the groom’s sister-in-law. Mrs. Frank Perry of Arlington was in charge of the guest book. Mrs. Nethers wore a pink, silk organza coat and dress ensemble with darker pink accessories and a white rosebud corsage for her daughter’s wedding.
Mrs. Lukenbach, mother of the groom, chose a peach coat and dress ensemble with white accessories and a corsage of white rosebuds.
The couple will reside in Randallstown, Maryland, and Mr. Lukenbach will be engaged in medical research at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
Wedding Shower
A surprise Wedding Shower was given Mr. and Mrs. Jack Chadwell of Flint Hill Saturday night by Mr. and Mrs. Lester Clatterbuck of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Grady Vest at the Vest home, Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Chadwell were married on September 12.
The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell, Mr. and Mrs. John Jenkins and Vicki, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Welch, Mr. and Mrs. John Vest, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Noakes, Mrs. Ed Welch, Mrs. Kathleen Davis, Claude Foster and Lyn Atkins, all of Flint Hill; Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Chadwell, Miss Geneva Campbell, Reid Nicholson of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nicholson of Haymarket.
