Elementary P.T.A.

Meets Next Wed.

The Rappahannock County Elementary School P.T.A. will meet in the school auditorium on Wednesday night, September 22, at 8 p.m. After the regular business meeting, there will be a panel discussion on Drug Abuse - its prevalence in adjoining counties and our area; its nature, effects, and prevention; how drug troubled students can best be helped; appropriate procedure when drug abuse problems arise; and the type of disciplinary action to be taken by the School Board when a student brings harmful drugs into the school. The panel will include two high school students, a teacher, a principal, a minister, a parent, a School Board member, a Narcotics Investigator, and the Judge of the Juvenile Court. Students, parents, and the general public are cordially invited to attend.
