Sales Supervisor
Mrs. Sally Mann has been promoted to Sales Promotion Supervisor in the Marketing Department of Washington Gas Light Company. She has been employed by the Washington firm, a distributor of natural gas, for nearly eight years. In her new position Mrs. Mann is responsible for the Company’s appliance showroom and will participate in the development of gas appliance displays in additional locations. She reports to Harold S. Smith, Sales Promotion and Training Manager. For the past 15 months Mrs. Mann has been Assistant to the Vice President of Marketing. She is a former resident of Amissville, the daughter of Mrs. Sarah Latham, and a graduate of Rappahannock High School. Her business affiliations include membership in the American Gas Association, the Advertising Club of Metropolitan Washington and the Zonta Club of Washington, D. C.
Feted With Buffet
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Latham entertained with a buffet Saturday evening at their home Horner Hill Farm. The dinner was in honor of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Armen trout and daughter Shelly who have recently returned from Alaska. Mr. Armentrout completed his military duty and has been discharged from the U.S. Air Force.
