Mrs. W. G. Eastham and Miss Marion Eastham of Amissville were luncheon guests Sunday of Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. Miss Lizzie Eastham left Saturday for Harrisonburg where she entered her first year at Madison College. She was accompanied by her mother and sister. J. Stant Weaver was a dinner guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Thornhill at Boston. Miss Irene Keyser with Mr. and Mrs. Clark Jones of Flint Hill visited Mrs. Janie Beahm Sunday at her home in Keyser Hollow. Ned Moffett Jones, on leave from Ft. Belvoir, is visiting at Delamore the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones. A group which included Ned Moffett Jones and Jimmy Jenkins accompanied by Dr. John Turner and son Lewis of Warrenton, T. C. Lea and son Cal of Culpeper camped Saturday night on the Jordan River near Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mr§. Thomas Wayland and sons of Manassas were weekend guests at the home of Mr. Wayland’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland. Mrs. Wayland spent Wednesday and Thursday with her son and family in Manassas.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shenk of Rileyville were supper guests Tuesday of last week with Mrs. Guy Burke. Mrs. Burke spent from Thursday until Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke and son Richy in Culpeper. On Sunday she attended the 50th wedding anniversary party for Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stanley in Culpeper.
