Food Conference
A Family Food Conference for the District 9 Planning District was held Thursday, Sept. 9th at the Germanna Community College. Mrs. Elizabeth Buntin, Mrs. Helen Fairfax, Miss Sandra Foster, Miss Ellen Mustoe, Mrs. Louise O’Bannon and Miss Kay Webb attended from Rappahannock County. The conference was a follow-up to the Governor’s Conference on the Family Food Dollar. Basic information on nutrition, selection and purchasing and low cost preparation was presented by slides, film, skit and demonstration
