Proud Papa - This Angus bull, owned by J. R Latham, Horner Hill Farm, Amissville, sired the grand champion steer shown at Maryland State Fair in Timonium this year. The steer was champion of the Angus and grand champion of all breeds. He was fed by Joe Cooney of West Minister, Md. and sold for $2.05 per pound following the showing September 1.
