The Rev. Douglas Kanney has accepted the pastorate of Little Fork Methodist Charge which includes Amissville, Jeffersonton and Oak Shade United MethodistChurches, and with his wife has moved into the parsonage at Jeffersonton. Rev. Kanney was a native of Charlottesville but was reared in Yorktown. He attended Randolph-Macon College at Ashland and transferred to Emory and Henry College where he received his B. A. degree. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond. He is married to the former Penny Faris of Harriman, Tenn.
