Washington College spent Saturday in Charlottesville where hey attended the U. of Va.-Navy Football game and afterwards had dinner at Wilkinson’s Seafood Restaurant at Colonial Beach. Dr. and Mrs. Mervyn Jeffries and family of Bethesda, Md. spent the weekend at their home in riger Valley. The Jeffries family spent Labor Day weekend in Williamsburg where Dr. Jeffries participated in the annual Cricket Match sponsored by Colonial Williamsburg. Mrs. Bertha Armel and granddaughter Rhonda Estes spent the weekend in Hampton with Mr. and Mrs. George E. Terry and family. Mrs. A Porter of Staunton was a visitor Friday of Mrs Don Conover at her home Sunnyside. Mrs. Porter was a former teacher sf Mrs. Conover at Staunton Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vaughan of Stafford were overnight guests Monday of Mrs. Vaughan’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke on Blue Ridge Avenue. Their Saturday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke of Flint Hill.
