points. Both team and coach share the credit for the successful season, along with many others; the Rev. Jerry Campbell acted as assistant coach for Ellis in addition to coaching an eighth grade unit. Dean Hahn has coached the JV team, some of whom will be seen in next season’s varsity opener.
Julian Brown and Roger Anderson served as JV referees the entire season and Brown was a key figure in the Sa|urday basketball clinic.
The fans must also not be forgotten or overlooked. They arrived for each game with abounding enthusiasm to cheer the formerly winless team. They traveled many miles and spent many dollars and the team responded with the most exciting games seen here in years.
