It’s the Rudasill Mill bridge that is falling down, falling down.. .After a new bridge was constructed over the Thornton River at Rudasill’s Mill the old truss span was removed this week. The deck was taken up and the metal work cut with a torch so it would collapse with a little urging. The frame «of the structure rests in the river after it was collapsed Monday. At one time the bridge spanned the Hazel River in Culpeper County near Boston and was moved to this location about 1937. A plaque on the bridge reading 1907 intimated that was the date of the original construction.
