Visits to the Shenandoah National Park totaled 61,900 last month as compared to 38,900 in January of last year, a 59.1 per cent increase.
R. Taylor Hoskins, superintendent, . reported, however, that the Skyline Drive was closed only three days in January as compared to 13 days last year, which accounted for an increase in travel. □
