Mrs. Joseph Murphy and sons, Mike and Mark of Winston-Salem, N.C. are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Brown Miller.

A special business meeting of the Sperryville Methodist Church was held Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland. Those attending were Mrs. Nina B. Brown, Nelson Nethers, Randolph Devers. Mrs. Catherine Brown, Mrs. James Swindler, Mrs. Ranny Aylor, Julian Brown and Mrs. Lee Swindler.

Mrs. Lee Swindler entertained at a family dinner Monday night for her granddaughter, Bobbi Swindler’s eighth birthday. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler, Natalie, Jimmy and Bill Swindler.

Mr. and Mrs. James F. Whitby and Mrs. Phyllis Shirey of Richmond were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown.

Mr. and Mrs. RandolphA Devers make daily visits to Front Royal to see their son, Buddy Devers who entered Warren Memorial Hospital Sunday. □
