Sweetheart candidates
The annual Sweetheart Dance at Rappahannock County High School will be held this weekend and at that time a candidate from the senior class will be chosen “Sweetheart 1972.’’ A court of four girls will be selected from the remaining classes. Seated in the center, are seniors, Geraldine Settle and Bonnie Lillard, sweetheart candidates; seated left are Jeanne St. .Clair and Carolyn Glascock, tenth graders, and right, Beverly Atkins and Mauri Raney, eleventh; standing are Leslie Mulcahy, Pam Lintz, Shelia Fritts and Millie North, all eighth graders; Teresa Fleming, Robin Estes, Peggy Scroggins and another Beverly Atkins. Four girls, one from each grade, will comprise the court of attendants.
