peau de soie was designed with an Empire bodice and full bishop sleeves. The high neckline and hemline were edged with Chantilly lace and matching lace also complemented the waistline and cuffs. The chapel train was held by a bow in the back and her elbow length veil of illusion fell from a headpiece of Chantilly lace and seed pearls. She carried a cascade of white daisies and baby’s breath.
Mrs. Douglas Bywaters of Flint Hill was matron of honor for her sister. Her long blue gown was fashioned on Empire lines with full bishop sleeves. She had a matching veiled headpiece and carried a bouquet of pink painted daisies.
Bridesmaids were Miss Jackie Dodson of Flint Hill and Mrs. Don A. Deal of Culpeper. They were attired in pink gowns like that of the honor attendant and had matching veiled headpieces. Their flowers were blue painted daisies.
Cindy Bywaters, niece of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a long white gown and carried a basket of rose petals.
