THE MARRIAGE OF Miss Twila Adele Youngman and Michael Carl Frieders took place on Sunday, June 4, 1972 in the War Memorial Chapel, Blacksburg, Va. Father William Gardner, R. C., performed the double ring ceremony. . The bride is the daughter of the late Frederick Ewin Youngman, Sr* and the late Marguerite Prescott Youngman. „ The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs^ yart r. Frieders of Sierra Vista, Ariz.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother Frederick Ewin Youngman, Jr. of Sperryville. _ Matron of honor was Mrs. Betty Hall of Blacksburg. Serving as bridesmaids were Miss Patricia McCann of Petersburg and Miss Anne Ayers of Cumberland. Stephen T. Hall of Blacksburg was best man and ushers were Edmund M. Coleman of Orange and Dennis E*. Webb of Alexandria.
Miss Youngman attended Sperryville Elementary School and Yorktown High School in Arlington. She was graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute on June 3 with a major in Geology. She plans to attend graduate school in the fall.
Mr. Frieden is earning his Master’s degree in Aerospace engineering and will teach at VPI this fall. The couple wiU reside in Blacksburg. □
