“Historic Culpeper,” a 112-page history of Culpeper County is being published by the Culpeper Historical Society Inc. and will be ready for sale to the public by July 1. The price will be $3 including tax. Mail orders will be filled for 25 cents extra.

Proceeds will. be used for restoration of the Burgandine House, the oldest house in Culpeper, which is owned by the Town of Culpeper. The Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce plans to establish a tourist information center in this house after its restoration. . The 8-1/2 by 5-1/2 inch 'paperback book represents the Historical Society’s effort “to learn, preserve, and share the history of Culpeper town and county.”
