The writer reports a personal loss from the recent flood disaster. Aunt Aaudie Crane, age 87, a native of Kansas who had lived in the Washington Metropolitan area six years with her daughter, suffered a heart attack during the evacuation of their home at Viers Mill, Md. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Holy Cross Hospital. Mrs. Crane was the widow of the late Arthur Crane, brother to Mrs. Myrtle Chastain of this community, and was an occasional visitor here. Interment was made at Cherryvale, Kansas, June 27. □

The Junior Choir of Macedonia Baptist Church, Flint Hill will celebrate its anniversary on Sunday, July 9 at 3 p.m. The Gospel Harmonizers will present the program at this special event. □
