home where once again grand larceny of personal property had taken place, including two guns. The next report was from the William Greer home which had been entered with petit larceny in evidence.
During the same days, Trooper R. A. Baines had been alerted to a breaking and entering at the John Gutherie residence where larceny had occurred including food and a gun.
Mr. Baines joined Estes and Deputy Ronnie Hawkins as they searched the mountain on foot after a report by area residents that shots had been fired on the mountainside. A motor bike used by the young vandals was found in a shed near the bridge at Rock Mills.
FRIDAY, the three youths went to the home of Mr. and Mrjs. Edward Pawley and requested that he call the authorities to come and get them.
Most of the personal property taken from the homes has been identified and returned to the rightful owners. Included in this was clothing, food, sleeping bags, walkie talkies, guns and a radio. □
