WITH THE signing of the contract for $2,998, 587 addition to Culpeper Memorial Hospital, work toward construction of the new two-story wing will begin immediately, according to A. Gordon Willis, Jr., president of the hospital’s Board of Directors.
( In 1972, a total of 179 patients were admitted to Culpeper Hospital from Rappahannock County.)
Groundbreaking for the new addition, which will be located in the rear section of the present building will take place in the very near future. Plans call for completion of the new wing by the latter part of 1975. Subsequently, renovation of the hospital’s original building opened in 1960 will be effected.
